That was my reaction when my husband called me early yesterday morning and asked me if I wanted to move to Chicago...
He was accepted to Midwestern University's Physical Therapy program in Downers Grove, IL, just outside of Chicago. CONGRATULATIONS TO RANDY!! SUPER exciting news! BIG move for us!
The best part??? We have to be there in less than 2 months...and our baby is going to be here in just a few more weeks...craziness!
So the reason I am writing this post is to ask anyone if they have ever lived there or know of anyone who lives in the Chicago area that might be able to give us some tips as far as looking for a place to live...we don't know much about the area and are trying to do this all over the phone and the internet, seeing as how our baby is due any week now...
Yes, the next 2 months ahead will be crazy and stressful and scary...but mostly I am just SOOO proud of Randy for being accepted into school (and into such a competitive program!) and SOOO excited to be moving to a fun place like Chicago!
And I am SOOO ready to have this baby, so hopefully the stress of these next couple weeks will put me into labor and our baby will come a little early ;)

I was so excited when you texted me that he got in the other day. Adam was so happy as well. Its so nice that you won't have to wait another year. Hey I got your text and can't believe it! How exciting! I would be so excited to go on such an adventure with my family:) and I LOVE Chicago! It's one of my favorite cities!! Now it totally gives me even more reason to go visit! I do have friends that live in Chicago so I will find their info and give it to you. I'm sure they would love to get to know you guys and help out because they just moved there not too long ago either from Kentucky. Well I will be back on Monday the 20th.
