Thanksgiving 2012

One of the things I am most thankful for this year is living so much closer to family!
Sheli and John and their 3 kids made the drive from Utah to spend Thanksgiving with us :)
Sheli and I were pretty proud of our Thanksgiving feast that we worked on alllllll day long:

turkey
mashed potatoes
gravy
stuffing
cranberry marshmallow salad
grandma graham's rolls
texas roadhouse butter
pecan yams
crunchy green bean casserole

While we cooked, the dads and kids did this:

While the Clowards were in town, we also...

spent a day at the Scottsdale Train Park...

made a late night showing of Twilight, just Shel and I.
cherry bombs and diet cokes included

let the kids open christmas pajamas on Thanksgiving night, a yearly tradition.

stayed up way too late for some black friday deals.
5 hour energy drinks and 70% off at jcrew

visited the Mesa Temple Christmas lights,
followed up by a QT run on the way home

and last but not least, went to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa and scare the hell out of baby Rowen ;)

A perfect Thanksgiving week!

Thanks for coming to Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with us Clowards!!
We miss you guys already!
xoxo

Looks like a fun and memorable holiday - you cooked up quite the Thanksgiving spread! So glad you all got to spend the holiday together :)

Love it! Our Thanksgiving was stuffy and unimpressive (we had it with my ex-boss), there weren't even rolls- which is like a sin I think.
You and Michele have freaking cute kids. Sister time is the best!
