How is my baby ONE already!?

At the age of 1 he...

is trying to walk all over the place...he will pull himself up to the ottoman and then just let go and walk on his own...he can usually walk about 6-8 steps before falling down

is into everything...anytime you tell this boy no, he just grins and wants to do whatever it is you told him NOT to do even more

is busy busy busy...he doesn't like to cuddle or just sit and chill, he is a mover and a shaker

still sleeps about 12 hours through the night, 7:30 pm-7:30 am

still takes two 2-hour naps a day (please let this continue!)

loves bath time and still bathes in the sink...although he is starting to outgrow it

loves to be outside but does NOT want to be held outside...he wants to be down on the ground, crawling around in the sand or dirt or grass and getting filthy dirty

only takes a bottle at bedtime and nap time now...sippy during the day time

love love LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and gets SO excited whenever it comes on TV

dances whenever he hears music on

hates his carseat with a mother freaking passion and arches his back and throws massive fits whenever we have to put him in it...in fact, he usually starts throwing a fit just as soon as we open the car door and he sees his carseat

will eat almost anything you put in front of him and only wants to feed himself...and he will let you know when he is all done by throwing his food thats left all over the floor

has 4 teeth...two on top, two on bottom

has droopy tired eyes that everyone always comments on...his squinty eyes are what make him look so different from Madden's baby pictures

loves when Daddy gets home from work...drops whatever he is doing and crawls on all fours super duper fast, making a beeline for his daddy

but he is still a Mama's Boy, just like his older brother

is obsessed with opening and closing doors...sometimes accidentally closes himself into a dark bedroom and then realizes he is trapped and bangs on the door and yells for us to come rescue him

claps his hands anytime he hears anyone say, "YAY!!"

waves "bye-bye" anytime he knows we are going bye bye or even if he just sees someone putting their shoes or coat on over by the door.

is OBSESSED with puppies

can say "Mama" "Dada" "puppy" "baby" "bye-bye" and "uh-oh"

is sort of mischievous and I can tell he's gonna be a little bit more of a trouble maker than Madden was...but he still has such a sweet disposition and is a happy smiley baby 24/7

Not a day has gone by this past year since he has been in our lives that I haven't thanked my Heavenly Father for blessing us with him.

He's our miracle baby!

IVF was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through.

And I prayed so hard that it would work the first time, because I swore I'd only do it once.

But he makes me wanna do it all over again.
