** October 30, 2015 **

The day before Halloween, there was an awards ceremony at Madden's school where Madden received a prestigious award.

Only a select few students from each grade level are chosen every quarter to be a "Super Shark" based on academic success, good decision making and admirable character.

Remember at the beginning of the school year when this kid had such a tough time adjusting to his new school?

Well now look at him!

I am so incredibly proud of him!

And I could tell his teacher, Miss Hogue, was so proud of him as well.

I think Madden was pretty proud of himself too.

He asked me to frame his certificate "in, like, a real nice glass frame, mom" and hang it over his bed.

Congrats, Madden!

We are so proud of our little "Super Shark!"
