Doctor of Physical Therapy

On Thursday May 24th, just days after we returned home from our relaxing cruise, Randy officially graduated from Physical Therapy School.
His mom was still in town, and my parents and little brother Landon flew in as well.
It was so nice to have so many family members there to support us and congratulate Randy on his special day!

Madden was so incredibly well-behaved during the ceremony and he seemed so genuinely interested in what was going on and cheered extra loud for his Daddy and his Daddy's friends.  After the ceremony was over, when we went and found Randy, Madden literally would not leave his side.  He wanted to be by Randy in every single picture and he followed him around like his little shadow, gazing at his daddy adoringly.
It was the sweetest thing :)

Watching Randy walk across the stage and be hooded and receive his diploma as they called him "Doctor Larry Randel Brimhall" got me a little emotional.  It took me back to our very first date, when he told me about his plans to become a Physical Therapist.
Fast-forward almost 6 years, and there I was, sitting in the audience with his mini-me, watching my husband earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
I could not be more proud of him for all of the hard work he has done and all the sacrifices he has made along the way!

CONGRATS, babe!
On such a HUGE accomplishment!
Madden and I love you SO much and are SO proud of you!
XOXO

That is awesome! Congrats to Randy, and to all of you! That is so cool that he got a job in AZ and that you get to go back. I'm sure it's bittersweet, but it'll be nice to be closer to family and your old stomping grounds, I'm sure.
