Vegas, Baby!

A quick weekend in Vegas with this guy was just what my sick pregnant self needed.

So what if Randy had to go to PT continuing education courses all day Friday and all day Saturday...it was the perfect excuse to use to getaway for a weekend just the two of us....

Well, 3 of us ;)

My dear friend Jamie from Chicago just happened to be passing through the Vegas airport the very same weekend so she rearranged her plans to spend all day Friday with me while Randy was in class.  We basically did what we do best...shopped and ate delicious food and just soaked up every second with each other...I hadn't seen her beautiful face for a whole YEAR!

No trip to Vegas is complete without a couple celeb sightings...

The real Jerry Rice on the left....NOT the real Zach Galifanakis on the right, but a damn good look-alike!

And no trip to Vegas is complete without watching the Bellagio fountain at night.

Or eating some really freaking good food!

Sushi Samba has been on my bucket list for years and it was SOOOOO yummy!

Every day, I looked forward to Randy getting out of class and meeting up with me for dinner.

Which was usually followed up by frozen hot chocolates at Serendipity where we people watched for hours and died over all the ridiculous people in Vegas.  Some of the best people-watching ever, right there, I tell ya.

A fun weekend!

But note to my future self:

Vegas and pregnant chicks don't mix well.

There's too much walking and your back will hurt, your feet will hurt, your sciatic nerve will hurt, your stomach will hurt, you will get pissed about all the second-hand smoke you have to breathe in and annoyed at all the stupid drunk people, and you will rack up the room service bill ordering hash browns with extra ketchup at 2 a.m. every day.

But none of that will ruin your weekend ;)
