Before school started, we had to squeeze in one last trip...this time to Cali.
But we couldn't bear to make the long 12 hour drive to my parents all in one day, especially with Layla being so little.
So we decided to drive half way and stay in Huntington Beach and then spend the day on the beach before finishing the drive to my parents.
After a delicious brunch and some fun in the sun, we hit the road and drove another 6 hours before finally making it to Grandma and Grandpa Hunts.
Layla was seriously an ANGEL on the road trip and only started to fall apart for maybe the last 20 minutes.
I was so happy to finally get her out of her carseat and cuddle her and give her a nice warm bubble bath in the sink.
Too bad you can't smell this picture of her....
because there's nothing quite like the smell of a freshly bathed baby.
