Remember that one time I let my kids ditch the entire first week of school and took them on a vacay to California instead?

And the main reason we drove 12 hours in the car with our kids and let them miss their first week of school....

Our week in California was filled with perfect weather, lots of fun cousin time, ridiculous amounts of delicious food, some fun bay area outings and endless hours of playtime in Grandma & Grandpa's yard.
But the highlights were definitely watching Hamilton and seeing Layla be loved on by so many cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents.
Why does vacation have to go by so fast!?
