...family pictures happen.
Whether my family likes it or not.
I remember dreading family pics every year when I was growing up.
Especially when my mom made us wear outfits we didn't even like, they just matched what everyone else was wearing.
So she would tuck in the price tags and make us wear them for family pics and then return them to the store, since we would never wear them again.
What a smart (and sneaky) mom I have :)
Now I find myself forcing my unwilling boys to take family pictures every year.
Madden is not really at an age where he is very cooperative for pictures.
So thats super fun.
And my husband loathes it and after every click of the camera says, "Okay, I think we're done"

And... oh my gosh family pictures can be such a pain, and it only gets harder the more kids you have. But, you are right, the results are worth it! Those were awesome.
Awesome pictures! Madden is so darn cute, he is such a good mix between you two, and seriously it is so BEAUTIFUL there!
Oh and CONGRATS on the Marathon! what is your playlist like, cause seriously some music just makes me want to lie down until the song is over. I haven't found too many good songs to run to.

Tiff you totally outed me - and I think I only did that tuck in the price tag thing only one time - but I guess that left a memory. Funny how YOU are doing the battle with the "family" over doing family pictures -
(remember the year you hated the clothes I bought at Old Navy to coordinate you with everyone and you cried so much that your eyes were still puffy in the family pictures?) but I'm glad you are up for the battle - the pictures are so worth it. . . they turned out fantastic. Good job!
Mom, yes, I'm pretty sure that old navy year was the same year we tucked in the price tags. I can totally picture that family portrait in my head...and I always wondered why I looked so ugly in it. Now I remember...its the puffy eyes, you're right, thats it. :)
