9 months

10 * 27 * 14

My boo is 9 months.
Which is like the best age ever.
And I just don't want him to ever grow up.
Ever.

I just really really really want to remember every little thing about him at this magical age, and so I take a million pictures and videos and I hope and pray that I remember every little thing he does.

Like how fast he has gotten at crawling and how he is such a mama's boy and crawls after me like a maniac all day long.
He is a speed demon.
Or how he babbles and talks to himself in his crib in the morning when he wakes up at the crack of dawn.
This babe rises with the sun, but how can I even be mad about it when I go in there to get him, and he starts panting and laughing and pumping his fists so excitedly the second he sees me.
Then when I pick him up, he smiles at me and smacks my face and laughs.
He's so excited.
And I'm so sleepy.

I want to remember that it was right around this age that I started to notice his different personality coming out, different than Madden's.
As babies, they seemed so alike, their temperament and their personality.
But now, I see Beckett becoming his own little unique person.
He is so much more active and busy than Madden was at this age.
He pulls himself up onto everything, reaches for everything, gets into everything, and is constantly on the move.
Even when you hold him, he pumps his little legs furiously as if he is running in place!
He is kind of a spaz!
When we lay on the floor, he attacks us and climbs all over us and pulls our hair and scratches us and just claws at us and thinks its hilarious.
And we all have the scratches and patches of hair missing to prove it!
And its literally like a full-on wrestling match when we try to change his diaper!
He just wants to be on the go, constantly, and can't hold still for even a second!

I want to remember how he still thinks his brother is the funniest person in the world.
But he also gets soooo excited when Daddy gets home...crawling super fast to the door, and then reaching up at daddy to pick him up.
He is mostly a mama's boy though, and I love it.
He bites his bottom lip all the time and has the cheesiest, gummiest smile.
He has these droopy, almond shaped eyes that we call "tired eyes" and strangers are always saying, "someone is sleepy" but really I'm like, no, he always looks like that, he just has tired eyes.

He hates getting his hair combed.
He loves making a gigantic mess at bath time and still bathes in the kitchen sink.
He drinks from a sippy cup and loves to eat baby food, but still has no teeth.
He loves being outside and loves being around other kids.
He's super ticklish and thinks peek-a-boo is hilarious.
He pulls himself up onto everything now and is starting to cruise along the furniture.
He loves puppies and stuffed animals.
He takes 2 naps a day and sleeps through the night.
He loves his toys and loves his cartoons.

I want to remember how sometimes we call him B
Sometimes Beck
Sometimes boo

I want to remember how obsessed and in love we all are with him.
How Madden says on a daily basis, "Mom, Beckett's the cutest baby in the world, huh?"
And how he told me the other night that "Beckett is the best 0 year old in the whole world."
I want to remember how much he makes me smile, how kissable his cheeks are, and how happy he makes our family.
He's such a good baby that he's making me and his daddy baby hungry for another one already, and he's not even 1 yet!
He really is the best 0 year old in the world!

Happy 9 months, B!
xoxo
