And so life began as a family of 5...
We survived our first night at home.
Layla slept and nursed like a champ and then got up and got ready for her first Dr. appt.
And if you were wondering how Beckett has been handling all of this, when the Dr. visit was over, he said he wanted to leave his baby sister there.
Then when he turned around and saw that Layla was indeed coming home with us he said, "I said stay here!"
As for Madden, I've never seen a big brother more in love with his baby sister.
Every morning he jumps out of bed and races to her bedside to see if she's awake so he can hold her before school.
And then after school he runs in the door and drops everything to wash his hands so he can hold her immediately.
He even asks me to put her on his lap in the boppy while he plays Xbox! haha
And every time I take a picture of them together, he tells me to send it to his teacher at school so he can show all his friends :)
Its the sweetest thing.
Anytime we all gather around to oooh and aaah over her, Beckett puts his arms around us and whispers "we are families."
Makes me laugh and melts my heart all at the same time.
