Siegels Cottonwood Pumpkin Farm

Madden was oblivious to the fact that this goat kept trying to eat his socks off.

Halloween is a pretty big deal 'round these here parts.
Who knew??
So I figured a visit to the pumpkin patch is a must while living in the Midwest.
Too bad our first Halloween here happened to be the third rainiest October Chicago has ever seen.
Ever.
Like in the history of freaking Chicago.
Which made for one very wet and muddy visit to the pumpkin patch.
So muddy that I'm pretty sure Annalisa and I both had to throw away the shoes we wore that day.
But not too muddy that we didn't slosh through the mud anyways and have a great time!
Thanks for going with us, Annalisa and Addie! We had tons of fun and can't wait to do it again next year....
But next year we will be prepared...with knee high rain boots. :)

Cute pictures! How are you just wearing sweaters? It looks so cold!!! Are you already acclimated to the colder climate? I'm cold over here in AZ with 65 degree weather! :) Madden looks adorable in his beanie by the way.
