Only thing that could get me on that plane home from Mexico, was knowing my babies were waiting at home for me.
Its hard to leave your kids for that long, but it makes it a little easier when you know you are leaving them in good hands.
While I was in Mexico my mom not ONLY watched my boys but she also cooked and cleaned, took my boys on adventures to the splash pad, the library, butterfly wonderland, the puppy store, open gym, did about 4 art projects a day with them, took them shopping for a new summer wardrobe, dropped some important docs in the mail for me, stitched up the hole in my ottoman, picked us up at the airport AND had a home cooked meal waiting for us when we got home.
So basically, to sum up, she is superhuman.
I tried to show my appreciation for all that she's done for us by treating her to a massage and dinner...but I think Beckett said it best when he climbed up on her lap in the middle of bedtime prayers and planted a big wet kiss on her lips.
